JOSH'S JOURNEY
Passion, Purpose, Persistence
From karting champion at 15 to British GT4 podiums, Porsche GT3 racing, and a McLaren Trophy win, Josh Rowledge’s rapid rise highlights his unstoppable drive in the world of motorsport.

A Talent On The Rise
Josh Rowledge is a promising young British racing driver with notable achievements in both karting and car racing. He began his career in the grass roots of motorsport, competing in British and European circuits. In 2018, he secured third place in the British Mini X30 Championship, and the following year he continued to impress by finishing as the Vice European Champion in the Junior X30 class. Rowledge demonstrated consistent success with podium finishes across multiple countries and also went on to secure the Winter Cup title the same year. By 2021, Josh had moved away from karting into cars and secured himself a drive in the Ginetta Junior Championship running alongside the British Touring Cars. The first year established Josh as someone to watch, with a third-place finish in the Rookie Championship which was rapidly surpassed with an outright win in the Ginetta Junior Winter Series later on in the season. In 2022, he secured the Ginetta Junior Championship title with proven winners R Racing
The success with the Ginetta opened up offers which led to his first taste of a Porsche and its well-established racing pedigree. This came by way of a run in the opening round of the Porsche Sprint Challenge Southern Europe at the hands of a Porsche 992 cup car. This yielded a 5th place finish after a creditable 3rd in qualification, a strong introduction to the raw power and performance of a Porsche GT3 car. For the 2023 season, Josh joined the fledgling DTO team to race in the British GT4 Championship where, against expectations, he secured multiple qualifying poles and podiums. The clear determination and drive for success has not gone unnoticed as he found himself drafted into the McLaren Trophy race in Spa in 2023 where an outright victory was achieved.
